HC Mechel, Chelyabinsk
He is a professional hockey player from Chelyabinsk. He started his professional career in CSKA club hockey system in the season 2010/11. With junior team Krasnaya Armiya won the Kharlamov Cup. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings, 121st overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He spent part of the season in the AHL, then he opted to return to Russia.
He took part in the KHL All-Star Game 2014.
Remaining with the Kings over the course of the season, Prokhorkin collected 4 goals and 14 points in 43 games in a bottom-six role. ATOI is 12:05.
He is a constant member of the Russian national team.
Totally in the KHL he played 385 games, scored 216 points (104+112) and +/- rating is +105.
