Maxim Karpov signed 2-years deal with Metallurg.
He is professional ice hockey player from Chelyabinsk. In 2009 he won the gold medal at the IIHF Ice Hockey World Junior Championship. Later he moved to CSKA to play with both: CSKA and Krasnaya Armiya.
He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers.
In the season 2010/11, he got the Kharlamov Cup as a member of Krasnaya Armiya having won over Steel Foxes from Magnitogorsk.
In the 2012 off-season he signed a deal with Lokomotiv from Yaroslavl.
In the season 2017/18 he joined CSKA for 2 years and in the season 2018/19 won the Gagarin Cup.
In the season 2019/20 Pashnin played with Salavat Yulaev. His stats is 60 GP, 12 points (2+10), +/- rating is +11, 69 PIM, 195 hits, 73 BS, ATOI in the regular championship is 18:17 and in the playoffs is 19:50. Pashnin has more hits than any KHL player.
In the KHL totally he played 553 games, scored 72 points (15+57), +/- rating is +108.
